COPYRIGHT NOTICE & CONTENT USE POLICY

©2026SteveAcito. All rights reserved.
1. Ownership of Content
Unless otherwise expressly identified, the original copyrightable content made available on Inesstories.com (the “Website”) is owned by © 2026 Steve Acito. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) or is used with authorization from the applicable rights holder.
Such content includes, without limitation, stories, manuscripts, books, electronic books, illustrations, artwork, original character depictions, graphics, photographs, interactive readers, games, animations, audio recordings, video, downloadable materials, original software code, and the original creative selection, coordination, and arrangement of these materials (collectively, the “Content”).
All ownership claims and restrictions stated in this policy apply to the extent of the rights protected under applicable law. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
2. Limited Permission for Personal Use
Subject to this policy and any additional terms accompanying particular materials, you are granted a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to access, view, read, listen to, and play the Content for your personal, noncommercial enjoyment, including use within your household.
You may download or print Content only where the Website expressly provides permission or a designated download or print option, and only for the personal, noncommercial use authorized for that material. Ordinary browser caching and other technical copies reasonably necessary to access and operate the Website as intended are permitted.
All copyright notices, creator credits, watermarks, and other ownership information must remain intact on any copies permitted under this policy.
3. Prohibited Uses
Except as expressly authorized by this policy, a separate written license, or applicable law, you may not reproduce, copy, distribute, publish, republish, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, sell, resell, license, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit the Content, in whole or in part, in any medium or format.
Without such authorization, you may not upload, host, mirror, frame, embed, or otherwise make the Content available through another website, application, social media account, online marketplace, file-sharing service, digital library, or other platform. This restriction includes copying or embedding an interactive reader or game, redistributing downloadable files, and extracting protected illustrations, text, audio, graphics, or code for use elsewhere.
You may not incorporate the Content into merchandise, print-on-demand products, publications, educational resources, advertising, subscription services, recorded readings, videos, applications, or other products or services without the required authorization.
You may not create unauthorized adaptations or derivative works from protected Content, remove or alter ownership notices, substitute another person’s or business’s branding or attribution, or represent the Content as your own work.
These restrictions apply whether the unauthorized use is offered free of charge, supported by advertising or donations, or provided in exchange for payment.
4. No Transfer of Ownership or Implied License
Access to the Website, possession of a downloaded file, or purchase of a product does not transfer copyright ownership or grant any license beyond the permission expressly provided.
Making Content publicly accessible or available without charge does not constitute a dedication to the public domain or permission for unrestricted reuse.
Giving credit, identifying the original creator, linking to the Website, or describing a use as “noncommercial,” “educational,” or “for personal use” does not, by itself, authorize a use that otherwise requires permission.
5. Sharing Links
You may share ordinary links directing others to publicly accessible pages on Inesstories.com, provided the links do not misrepresent your relationship with the Website or suggest sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement that does not exist.
Permission to share a link does not include permission to copy, redistribute, rehost, or embed the linked Content.
Please share links to our Website—not copies of our books, readers, games, illustrations, or other materials.
6. Permission Requests
Requests to reproduce, publish, distribute, adapt, license, commercially use, or otherwise use the Content beyond the permissions stated in this policy must be submitted to:
steveacito@mac.com
Please identify the specific Content, describe the proposed use, and state where and how the material would be displayed or distributed.
Where permission is required, it must be obtained in writing before the proposed use begins. Submission of a request, or the absence of a response, does not constitute permission. Any permission granted applies only to the particular Content, purpose, duration, and other conditions expressly approved.
7. Third-Party Materials and Legal Exceptions
Third-party materials, including any separately licensed software, fonts, media, or other assets, remain subject to the rights of their respective owners and the licenses applicable to those materials. This policy does not override permissions granted under an applicable third-party license.
Nothing in this policy prohibits fair use or any other use permitted by applicable law, or asserts exclusive ownership over material that is not legally protectable. Where a separate written license governs particular Content, that license controls to the extent of any conflict with this policy.
8. Unauthorized Use and Enforcement
We reserve the right to investigate suspected unauthorized use and to pursue remedies available under applicable law. These may include requests for removal, copyright infringement notices to hosting providers and platforms, and legal proceedings seeking injunctive relief, damages, costs, or attorney’s fees where legally available.
Suspected unauthorized copying, resale, redistribution, or republication may be reported to the contact email above. Reports should identify the affected Content and include relevant website addresses, screenshots, or other supporting information.
Our decision not to pursue a particular instance of unauthorized use does not, by itself, constitute permission for that use or a waiver of our rights concerning other uses.
ALL RIGHTS NOT EXPRESSLY GRANTED ARE RESERVED.
